The Charleston Art Market is a marketing cooperative set up to service artists and affiliate members via the Art Market’s Online Print Gallery and Production House.
The Charleston Art Market purpose is to generate national and international traffic via affiliate partner-members’ personal Web sites and the Art Market’s Web 2.0 traffic generators to produce the sales you are seeking.
The Charleston Art Market allows artists to display and sell their work to international clientele via the Market’s Online Gallery and, at the same time, receive commissions for the sale of works by other displaying-artists. Commissions are paid when a client – referred to the Art Market gallery via a link on a member-artist’s personal Web site – purchases a work by another displaying-artist.
Once a sale is made, the Charleston Art Market’s staff at Expectations Studio takes over, professionally printing the art (securely stored on high-resolution digital disks) to canvas, packaging it and shipping it to the client.
Charleston Art Market staff will collect all monies due, including all taxes, printing and shipping charges. The Art Market’s accounting staff will then disperse any commissions due to referring Art Market members and – most importantly – disperse the profits from the sale to the artist.
